Gambhir seeks time off 'political duties' to focus on IPL job
Gautam Gambhir returns as KKR mentor for upcoming IPL season. On Saturday, the Member of Parliament sought permission from his party BJP to focus on cricket and reequested the party president to relieve him of political duties. He thanked PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for trusting him. The upcoming season of the IPL is scheduled to begin on March 22.
