81.17% voter turnout recorded in 2nd phase of polling for 5 Assam Lok Sabha seats
Officials reported a 81.17% voter turnout in the second phase of polling for five Lok Sabha constituencies in Assam. Nagaon saw the highest turnout at 84.97%, trailed by Darrang-Udalguri at 82.01%, Karimganj at 80.48%, Silchar at 79.05%, and Diphu at 75.74%. Sixty-one candidates were in the fray in the second phase of polling.
