JMM's Champai Soren takes oath as chief minister of Jharkhand

Champai Soren took oath as the chief minister of Jharkhand at Raj Bhavan in Ranchi on Friday. The 67-year-old tribal leader has been sworn in as the 12th chief minister of the state. Senior Congress leader Alamgir Alam and RJD leader Satyanand Bhokta also took oath as state ministers. Champai Soren has been given 10 days to prove his government's majority.
