Breakthrough IVF baby turns dad at same Mumbai hospital

Nearly three decades ago, a couple from Chembur celebrated the arrival of their only son, heralding a "scientific breakthrough" that addressed male infertility. The child, named Luv Singh, marked a significant milestone as India's first ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection) baby, following the birth of a Belgian baby through a similar method two years prior and India's first test-tube baby, Harsha Chavda-Shah, nearly eight years earlier.
