Delhi experienced dense fog on Republic Day with a minimum temperature of 4.7 degrees Celsius. Visibility at airports was as low as 100 meters. The morning was chilly, four notches below the seasonal average. A partly cloudy day with a maximum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius was forecasted. An orange alert was issued by the IMD. On Thursday, Delhi recorded 4.8 degrees Celsius minimum and 20.5 degrees Celsius maximum temperatures.
