MVA, Shinde-Fadnavis government now spar over submarine project going to Gujarat

The opposition Maha Vikas Aghadin (MVA) criticized the Shinde-Fadnavis government over the shifting of a submarine project from Sindhudurg to Gujarat. The project was taken away from Maharashtra despite the union Minister for MSME, Narayan Rane, being from the konkan region. However, CM Eknath Shinde denied the reports, stating that no projects have moved out of Maharashtra. The Gujarat government is now planning to sign an MoU with Mazgaon Dockyard Limited (MDL) for a submarine tourism project. The opposition raised concerns about Gujarat taking away multiple projects from Maharashtra.
