Hoshang Qaderi, an Iranian green activist, is on a mission to spread a message against the use of plastic bags. He is staying at the guesthouse of the iconic Mughal Masjid in Mumbai, on the request of the Iranian consulate. Qaderi plans to cycle from Rameswaram to Jaffna in Sri Lanka, and then to Colombo, before returning to Iran by air. His journey so far has been filled with goodwill, as he encounters gestures of support along the way. Qaderi believes that cycling should be encouraged to cut fuel consumption and keep the environment clean.
