The police have filed a 583-page chargesheet regarding the robbery in Mumbai. The chargesheet includes statements from 22 witnesses. The robbery occurred when three robbers entered the flat of a 69-year-old woman and her husband. The robbers tied them up and stole gold and diamonds worth Rs 1.9 crore. The alleged ringleader of the gang, Surendra Singh Jhala, had initially chosen two men from Mumbai to carry out the robbery, but they backed out.
