I’ve been victim of insults for 20 years: PM Modi while expressing anguish over Dhankhar’s mimicry
A day after Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee mimicked Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar in front of Parliament during the protests against suspension of many members, PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday spoke to the Rajya Sabha chairman expressing great pain over the “abject theatrics” by the opposition MP. The PM said he had been at the receiving end of such insults for the past 20 years but it was unfortunate that it has happened to the country’s Vice-President that too in front of Parliament.
