Over 3,000 candidates have applied for the positions of priests at the Ram temple in Ayodhya after vacancies were advertised by the Ram Mandir Teerth Kshetra Trust. Out of these applicants, 200 have been selected for interviews based on merit. The interviews are being conducted by a three-member panel and the trust will ultimately select 20 candidates for the positions. The selected candidates will undergo six months of residential training and those who are not selected will receive certificates and have the opportunity to be considered for future positions.
