Thackeray has accused the BMC of stalling the project to appease ministers who want to time the inauguration for political gain. The BMC has defended its decision, stating that the bridge cannot be opened until all necessary tests and painting work are completed. The bridge, which is a vital link in the Worli assembly constituency, is expected to be accessible by the end of the month.
