The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has made its 15th arrest in connection with the car bomb blast outside a temple in Coimbatore in October 2022. The arrested individual, Tahanaseer, was a close aide of the deceased bomber. It was revealed that Tahanaseer conspired with Jamesha and another accused to carry out the bomb blast as part of an ISIS-inspired plot. The investigation also uncovered that Jamesha was deeply influenced by the radical ISIS ideology and had sworn allegiance to the group.
