ED plans to seek review of SC bail to M3M promoters
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is considering seeking a review from the Supreme Court regarding the bail granted to the promoters of M3M real estate group, Basant and Pankaj Bansal, in a corruption and money laundering case. The Bansals are accused of bribing a former special court judge to influence the case. The ED believes that the bail order could impact its investigation as the accused were evasive during questioning. The ED had previously seized luxury vehicles worth Rs 60 crore from the Bansals' premises.
