The girl, Radhika More, identified the accused, Nikhil Vaishya alias Deepak (38), a college dropout, when the MIDC police showed her at least 110 photos including a 2020 video of the public manhandling him for housebreaking in Nallasopara. Vaishya, a Govandi resident, regularly changed his locations and broke into a house where there is no closed-circuit television that has helped him to remain anonymous after committing thefts after being released from jail in 2021.
