Rubbishing the Prime Minister's reply to the no-confidence motion, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said Narendra Modi "shamelessly laughed, cracked jokes and led a chorus of slogans from BJP benches", ignoring that the issue being discussed was the violence, killings and rapes in Manipur. Rahul said Modi spoke for 2.13 hours in Lok Sabha, but only two minutes on Manipur, and his speech was essentially about "him, his ambitions and his opinions", and not about putting out the fire in Manipur.
