Will Rahul Gandhi be reinstated as Lok Sabha MP before August 8?
After the Supreme Court on Friday stayed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's conviction in the Modi surname remark case, the party leaders demanded that he should be reinstated as a Lok Sabha MP from Wayanad immediately. While party president Mallikarjun Kharge hoped that Rahul may be reinstated on Friday itself, other leaders such as Abhishek Manu Singhvi and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury demanded that the former party president should be back in the Lok Sabha by August 7.
