Responding to a green group's application against dumping of debris and causing pollution in Mithi river at Aarey Colony, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has set a two-week deadline for the BMC to clear it from the banks of Tapeshwar Mandir in Aarey. The order follows a joint inspection by NGT's western zonal bench committee set up after the NGO Vanashakti moved the tribunal on not getting a response from the BMC.
