Thane: Man gets 7 years’ rigorous imprisonment for rape of homemaker
Nineteen years after a homemaker was raped, a rickshaw driver has been sentenced to seven years of rigorous imprisonment (RI) by the district court in Thane. Additional Sessions Judge Dr Rachna R Tehra convicted the accused Ramashankar Shukla, 52, and imposed a fine of Rs 5,500.
