Taylor Swift, SZA lead VMA nominations
Taylor Swift has been nominated for eight awards including Artist of the Year, at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. SZA is the second highest-nominated with six nods. Also, the record-breaking show will feature 35 first-time nominees, and the completely gender-neutral categories include new sections such as Best Afrobeats. The award ceremony will be held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, and fan voting begins online from September 12.
