Engineering & tech solutions provider Cyient has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Japanese electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft manufacturer SkyDrive Inc. The urban air mobility (UAM) market, which is estimated to grow to around $25-30 billion by 2030, offers a seamless, secure and rapid mode of transportation that can help help mitigate the challenges facing urban areas thanks to rising urbanisation, growing population and e-commerce boom, Cyient said on Friday.
