Union commerce minister Piyush Goyal met with his counterparts from South Korea and Singapore during his visit to San Francisco for the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) ministerial meeting. The leaders discussed ways to enhance cooperation in emerging and futuristic areas. India and Singapore have a close bilateral relationship, while India and South Korea have mutually beneficial ties. Goyal also attended the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit and participated in the India-USA Innovation Handshake Initiative to promote innovation and job growth in emerging technologies.
