VLCC appoints Nykaa's Vikas Gupta as CEO
Global investment firm Carlyle-controlled beauty and skincare brand, VLCC has appointed Vikas Gupta as CEO. Gupta was previously the CEO of SuperStore, Nykaa's eB2B business, and has worked with Walmart-owned Flipkart as its Chief Customer and Marketing Officer. He started his career with FMCG major HUL where he spent 21 years in various roles. Gupta has been appointed with immediate effect, after Carlyle announced in December 2022 that it would acquire a majority stake in VLCC.
