Domestic natural gas price for rest of April to be $6.5 per mmbtu
The new rate follows the Cabinet approval on Thursday of a new pricing mechanism for gas produced by ONGC and Oil India from their so-called nomination fields. The new gas price is to be calculated every month and will be 10% of the previous month’s average price of Indian basket crude.
