Centre hikes windfall tax on crude oil to INR 12,000 per tonne
The Indian government has increased the windfall tax on domestically produced crude oil to INR 12,000 per tonne, up from INR 10,000. In addition, the government has reduced the windfall tax on the export of diesel and Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF).
