Titan's CEO, Ajoy Chawla, believes that the luxury market in India is poised to grow with the per capita income crossing the $2,000 mark. He sees a trend towards premiumization and expects Zoya, Titan's luxury brand, to double its turnover in the next few years. Currently, Zoya has eight stores and plans to expand to 14 or 15 stores by next Diwali. While Zoya may be purchased for weddings and festive occasions, its focus has always been on occasion wear.
