A majority of Indian companies are creating opportunities for upskilling or reskilling employees, while also offering flexible work options and well-being initiatives, according to Mercer's 2023 Global Talent Trends study. Of the companies surveyed in India, 45% are redefining work with employee well-being in mind, such as creating realistic workloads, no-meeting days and providing positive work environments. Employee well-being is becoming a top priority for organisations, with changes to benefit offerings expected to support attraction, retention and engagement.
