Extending this excellent idea, may we suggest that audiobooks of classic works of literature like Godaan, Pather Panchali (lest anyone think it's about 'Panchali') and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, along with noted books of popular science, be also read out to the growing foetuses. Knowledge by passive induction is not a proven science, true. But, hey, it can't harm anyone. At the very least, it will make mothers come out of the programme with a well-rounded liberal and science-based education.
