The welfare budget has been enhanced, supply-side response to inflation has been prompt, and interest rate adjustments are calibrated for minimum growth sacrifice. Manufacturing incentives are predicated on job creation, as is enhanced government capex on infrastructure. Slowing exports will have some effect on employment and may merit policy support.
