US President Joe Biden said he expected Iran to attack Israel "sooner, rather than later," and warned Tehran not to proceed. Biden’s remarks come amid heightened fears of Iranian retaliation over an air strike on the country’s consulate in Damascus.Israel has not admitted attacking an Iranian consulate in Syria but is widely believed to have been behind it.Meanwhile, the US claimed to have observed Iran moving military assets around internally, including drones and cruise missiles. One of the people said the US had observed Iran readying as many as 100 cruise missiles.The move, as per US officials, signaled that Tehran is possibly preparing to attack Israeli targets from inside its own territory.
