Russia has accused Ukraine of attacking the besieged Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station with a drone which it claims was shot down over a reactor. The plant, run by a unit of Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom, said Ukrainian forces attacked the plant three times with a "kamikaze drone”. Russia's Defence Ministry claims to have destroyed a Ukrainian drone production facility during a strike using Iskander missiles. Top EU diplomat Josep Borrell said Ukraine is "desperately asking" for seven Patriot batteries. Meanwhile, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said that Germany has no more extra Patriot air defence systems to send to Kyiv.
