The death toll from a devastating landslide in southern Philippines has increased to 54. Rescue workers are digging through the mud to recover more bodies. The landslide occurred near a gold mine in Maco town, Davao de Oro province, burying homes and vehicles. Despite challenging conditions, rescue work continues.
