Iran kicks off construction of four more nuclear power plants

Iran has revealed plans to build four additional nuclear power plants in the southern region of the country, aiming for a total energy production of 20,000 megawatts by 2041. The plants, with a combined capacity of 5,000 megawatts, will be constructed in the port town of Sirik. The project, estimated to cost $20 billion, is expected to take around nine years and create 4,000 jobs.
