Prince Harry wins damages over phone-hacking by British newspapers

Prince Harry awarded £140,600 after London's High Court ruled he was victim of phone hacking and unlawful information gathering by Mirror Group Newspapers. Harry, along with other claimants, took legal action over allegations of phone hacking and unlawful information gathering between 1991 and 2011. The court found that Harry's phone was hacked to a modest extent. "We welcome today's judgment that gives the business the necessary clarity to move forward from events that took place many years ago," an MGN spokesperson said.
