Australian ports reopen after cyberattack

Major ports in Australia, accounting for 40% of the country's freight trade, have resumed operations following a cyberattack that occurred last week. DP World, the leading operator, disconnected its systems from the internet when the attack was detected and has now successfully tested key systems before reopening. While investigations and efforts to protect systems may cause temporary disruptions, the company expects to move 5,000 containers out of the four terminals during the day.
