Brent Brewer, a Texas man who spent over 30 years on death row for a murder committed during a robbery when he was 19, was executed on Thursday. Brewer was sentenced to death in 1991 for fatally stabbing Robert Laminack during a robbery. Despite appeals for a stay of execution, Brewer's requests were denied.
