China has appointed Vice-Premier He Lifeng to lead a new Communist Party organization focused on the financial sector. He will also be visiting the United States as Beijing's main representative for China-US economic and trade affairs. However, he is not responsible for technology or manufacturing, which are handled by other Vice-Premiers.
