Flight attendants who blamed clothing company for health issues win California lawsuit

A clothing company has been ordered to pay over $1 million to four American Airlines flight attendants who claimed that their uniforms caused health problems. The attendants attributed their rashes, headaches, and breathing issues to chemicals used in the production of the uniforms. The verdict may lead to further legal challenges, as more than 400 other flight attendants have made similar claims against the uniform manufacturer. American Airlines has since terminated its contract with the company and switched to a new uniform supplier.
