Woman arrested after trying to get close to Trump at New York trial
A court system employee was arrested during Donald Trump's civil fraud trial after standing up and approaching the front of the courtroom where the former president was seated. The woman expressed a desire to help Trump but was told to return to her seat by a court officer. She was later escorted out of the courthouse and arrested for contempt of court.
