US caver rescued after days-long climb from 1,000 metre deep in Turkish cave
Early on Tuesday, an American caver who had fallen ill and become trapped over 1,000 meters (3,300 feet) underground in southern Turkey was successfully rescued. Turkey's TUMAF caving federation reported this accomplishment following a multi-day international rescue mission.
