Honduras arrests mayor accused of trafficking cocaine to US
Honduran mayor Wilmer Manolo Wood has been arrested on charges of smuggling 90 tons of cocaine to the United States with the help of drug cartels. Wood is accused of working with three cartels and personally receiving 30 tons of cocaine. Authorities believe he has been involved in drug trafficking for over 15 years and began running operations on his own eight years ago. ]
