Protesters renew rallies in south Syria over living conditions

Hundreds of protesters took to the streets in Sweida province, southern Syria, against rising living costs and worsening conditions. Videos posted on Suwayda24 showed demonstrators holding up banners and chanting anti-government slogans, including "freedom" and "long live Syria, down with (President) Bashar al-Assad". Protests are rare in the country's southern region, but living conditions have worsened following the government's lifting of fuel subsidies last week.
