Severe floods in China's northern province killed 29 and caused tens of billions of economic losses

At least 29 people died and billions of dollars in damage was incurred by the severe floods brought by remnants of Typhoon Doksuri in China's northern province of Hebei this month. More than 3.9 million residents, or approximately 5% of the province's population, have been affected by the floods and over 40,000 houses have collapsed.
