Pakistan's finance minister Ishaq Dar has cancelled a visit to the IMF and the World Bank for spring meetings due to domestic political turmoil. Pakistan has been negotiating with the IMF over securing its funding with the latter having agreed to give a $6.5bn rescue programme in 2019, with $1.1bn poised to be granted.
