Royal Navy and RAF team up with US to sink 450ft-long warship in 'rare' show of force

The Royal Navy and Royal Air Force used high-powered weaponry to sink decommissioned warship USS Boone in the north Atlantic. The exercise, named Atlantic Thunder, was the first of its type for the Royal Navy in 18 years and took place alongside US Navy and US Air Force counterparts.
