AMIENS CATHEDRAL - NOTRE DAME D'AMIENS CATHEDRALE - UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITES IN FRANCE The primary reason, I wanted to visit Amiens was to see Amiens Cathedral which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in France. It was one of the largest Gothic churches in the 13th C CE and an excellent example of high Gothic architecture. Amiens Cathedral is still the largest Cathedral in France at 200,000 m3 which is more than twice of Notre Dame Paris! It also has the highest nave at 42.3m! Honestly, I can't write all about the Cathedral and all other Amiens Attractions in the same article, it would be too extensive.
