Rohit Sharma played for India's T20I side for the first time since the 2022 T20 World Cup semi-final when he turned out for the home T20I series against Afghanistan last year. The 2024 edition of the cricketing extravaganza will be jointly hosted by West Indies and USA and will begin from June 1.
