Tanmay Agarwal hits fastest triple-century in first-class cricket

Hyderabad batter Tanmay Agarwal also broke Virender Sehwag's previous record of 284 runs on the second day of the Brabourne Test against Sri Lanka in 2009 by becoming the first Indian batter to score 300 or more runs in a single day of first-class cricket. Tanmay recorded the fastest triple ton (147 balls) in the history of first-class cricket, bettering Marco Marais's feat, which he achieved in 191 balls for Border against Eastern Province in 2017.
