Shubman Gill is set to take over as captain for the Gujarat Titans in the upcoming Indian Premier League 2024 season. He was appointed captain of the Gujarat franchise after Hardik Pandya's departure to Mumbai Indians. Shubman, who spent four seasons at Kolkata Knight Riders, scored 890 runs in 17 matches last season and scored three centuries. Gujarat Titans head coach Ashish Nehra has praised Shubman as the "right guy" for the big role, stating that the team will support him.
