The BCCI is planning to introduce a tier-2 white-ball cricket league, possibly adopting the T10 format, with the blueprint already in progress. According to a report, the league may debut as early as September-October next year, receiving positive feedback from various stakeholders. The BCCI is currently deliberating whether to proceed with the T10 format or opt for the T20 version and whether to put an age cap for the tier-2 league to safeguard the interest of the IPL.
