Long jumper Murali Sreeshankar qualifies for 2024 Olympics
Star India long jumper Murali Sreeshankar qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics on Saturday after bagging a silver medal in the Asian Athletics Championships in Bangkok. The qualification mark for the Paris Games is 8.27m and Sreeshankar produced a final round jump of 8.37m to seal his berth for the 33rd Olympics next year. The qualification period for the Paris Games commenced on 1st July.
